Gum disease is an infection of gums that support and surround your teeth. The most common symptoms include redness, swelling and bleeding of the gums.  If left untreated, it can lead to tooth loss in adults. Early stage gun disease is known as gingivitis, which can be treated quickly by a dental cleaning.

Gun disease can be prevented by routine brushing and flossing.  Read this article to learn more about gum disease and how to prevent it.
